Small ocean side town about an hour drive from Cagayan de Oro. Safe, clean and friendly. Great selection of fresh fish from the local market. One Jollibee and one traffics light. Easy to get around the town either walking or taking the local taxi services. An air conditioned bus ride to Cagayan de Oro is about 100 peso. The airport is about 2 hours away.

Balingasag is one of the top visited municipality in Misamis Oriental. A lot can be found in our hometown. You will enjoy numerous sea adventures. You can also explore our beautiful palace. The people in here are very hospitable and you will surely find a peaceful place since the town is not overpopulated. We have three local colleges for educational plans and we have markets, malls, fast food restaurants and park for food and recreational activities.
