Kivalliq district in Nunavut on mainland Canada within the Inuit Nunangat tribe. Located 320 km inland from Hudson Bay, it is close to the geographic center of the country, and is famous for being the only interior community of the Canadian Arctic. The village is at the mouth of the Thelon River on the shore of Lake Baker.
