While Ashburn is not a small or rural city, it has the feeling of one. Neighborhoods are spread out, there are many trees and open spaces, and it is altogether very quiet place. However, keeping that in mind, there is not much to do in terms of community events and other activities.
Ashburn is a sprawling city composed of many small communities. The area is close enough to DC to allow residents to commute easily. Construction of a new train station with direct service to downtown Washington DC is set to be completed by early 2021. Ashburn is a beautiful area with many wineries and a variety of dining options. There are low crime rates and the schools in the area are some of the best in the nation which makes it a wonderful place to raise a family.
