Someone moving to Asansol should be well-versed in Bengali language, otherwise it would be difficult to communicate with the people. have adequate professional skills, as people in our city suffer from the pangs of unemployment. He/She must practice the art of bargaining as businessmen charge unaffordable rates. He/She should have sufficient knowledge regarding Bengali cuisine.

Asansol is the second biggest city in West Bengal and, being an industrial city, it is very polluted. Climate is very extreme over here, summers very hot and winters very cold. Accommodation is cheap. Food is cheap with lots of good eating places. People are very friendly and helpful.

Know about India’s first restaurant train, at the Asansol station. Then after coming to places of pleasure, there satabdi and lamya park. The person should also know about the rejuvenating coffee house which is to be inaugurated shortly. The city is always known for its marvelous tea stalls at cheaper rates.
