Arouca is a small town located close to the borough of Arima. It is ‘East Trinidad’ though when viewing a map of the island it is physically in the middle of the north of the island. It is near the base of the northern range which allows it protection from heavy rains and winds.

It is very small in a the eastern part of the island of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The island is Port of Spain. Arouca is quiet for the most part but comes alive on the weekends. There are street food vendors and bars open where cultural music flows and wafts on the nights’ breeze.

One can consider moving here because it is a quiet neighbourhood, close to restaurants, bars, parks and a shopping mall. It is also clean and in close proximity to the airport, hotels and banks. Arouca can also be considered a safe place where you can go outdoors at nights.
