Living in Arcadia can be very expensive. Because of its great schools, prices of homes have skyrocketed. Arcadia is mostly a residential area. It contains a mall and many other small businesses. It is close to bigger cities like Los Angeles and Pasadena, where most people probably work. Arcadia also borders the San Gabriel Mountains which has many hiking trails. people who enjoy hiking will be happy to live here.

Before moving to Arcadia, one must be financially comfortable. Like most of southern California, Arcadia homes and apartments are in the top price range compared to the greater United States. In exchange for pricey living arrangements, residents of Arcadia get to enjoy wonderful warm weather year-round, making colder months quite pleasant and summer great beach days.
