Our city is a wonderful place. Yearly we celebrate our town fiesta, this is to give thanks for our town patron. This celebration will take for three consecutive days. In this days, there are a lot of contest that our city government are organizing, such as dance contest and singing contest.

Apalit, Pampanga, is a great city especially for its culture and traditions. Every 28th of June, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Peter and many people visit our city to watch the traditional “Pagoda.” Apalit also offers a lot of delicious food. Aside from these, the people in this city are very accommodating and kind.

If someone wanted to move to my city which is Pampanga, She or He must consider visiting different tourist attractions that he or she will absolutely adore. Also, they must try our different delicacies that only Kapampangan can make. Kapampangans are known for being good cooks, that is why foods like our “kakanins” will surely leave them in awe.

Apalit is a place good for raising children, the community is great, you will have neighbors that will look out for your family’s welfare, especially your kids. We look out for each other, and since it is a bit of a remote town, everyone knows one another.

The city or municipality of Apalit, Pampanga, is a great city. The people here are friendly and we love festivities so take note of that. You will always have neighbors who sing karaoke whenever someone in their family celebrates his/her birthday. But they will always knock on your door to give you spaghetti, lumpiang shanghai, and fried chicken—the usual birthday party favorites. Other events that we like to celebrate are feasts with which we have the libad or the parade in the rivers. However, Apalit is surrounded by rivers and this causes flooding in our area.

They must consider the exact place to stay because there is some part of the city which is not good to stay at since it is a bit far from the market. They must consider having work because it is not easy to find a job here. Also, make sure that they have a place to stay already because there is not much a place to rent.

We are home to Panday Pira, a blacksmith who was the first to resist the Spanish colonizers in the Philippines. He also became a town icon as someone who embodies the spirit of the people who are blacksmiths as well. We are also home to rice farmers, being in the Rice Granary region of Central Luzon.
