Americus is a surprisingly hip small town. With Habitat for Humanity’s and President Carter next door, you’re sure to run into some interesting people. It still has the trappings of a small town though, tight knit circles and plenty of casual racism.

When moving here, there is a lot an individual should know. there are not many things to do for fun here due to the closing of many businesses. Secondly, the roads have a lot of potholes so driving is difficult. The work opportunities here are not very good ones. Minimum wage is not enough to live off of.
