The majestic fort, beautiful City Palace and the colorful markets make Alwar one of the most interesting cities in Rajasthan. Alwar has been one of the oldest of Rajasthani Kingdoms and one of the first Rajput states to align itself with the British empire. The city becomes a great weekend getaway from New Delhi.

Alwar is one of the oldest cities in Rajasthan. Paradoxically, the city is also the most recent of the Rajput kingdoms. Its traditions can be traced back to the realms of Viratnagar that flourished here around 1500 BC. It has great historical and religious values. It is known for centuries in the world.

Alwar is a peaceful city. There are many places to visit like Siliserh Lake. It has lot of good income jobs and low prices of daily life products. My city has good people who are so supportive.

the weather is either too hot or too cold depending upon the season as it is in Rajasthan. The city is developing year on year. It is between the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur and the capital of India, Delhi making it easier for travellers. The city has some of the oldest history spots though some of them need to be repaired as well.
