Alexis Creek is a small town in the heart of the Cariboo-Chilcotin, west of Williams Lake. Along Highway 20, the town has the cleanest rest area, complete with flush toilets, at the local tourist information centre. Named after local Chief Alexis of the Tsilhqot’in Nation, Alexis Creek has a public school, general store, nursing station, and RCMP detachment.
