Alcalá de Henares is an incredible historical city full of cultural places and events. The city is the home of the prestigious Cervantes award, which is awarded to the best writers in the world. The award is delivered by the King and Queen of Spain, the ceremony is an event where all of the previously awarded authors are in attendance.

HELPFUL REPORT

Someone moving to Alcala de Henares, should be first of all prepared for the Spanish heat. Then one should find out that the Spanish are always late. They enjoy the afternoon naps, and the late parties, to which they arrive late. But in the end, Alcala de Henares is a great place, full of history and good spirits. I recommend it to anyone with lust for life.
