Lots of rich horse people retirees. Nothing to do really, but there’s a bit more in Augusta nearby. Downtown is pretty.

Aiken is a small town near the border of South Carolina and Georgia. Many people live in Aiken and work in Augusta, Ga. Aiken has a great equestrian community. There are several neighborhoods with easy access to riding trails. Aiken is a great place for someone who enjoys the small town life.

there are great restaurants and great atmosphere. If you are looking for a great place to retire, this is the city to look for. Downtown in my city is great for nice walks and spending time with family. Also, this isn’t the place to reside if you’re expecting huge pay.

It is a beautiful southern town and the people in the area are extremely outgoing and hospitable. Aiken is a retirement community and a prestigious polo demographic; steeped in rich history from the beginning or founding by William Aiken. Among a vast selection of grand establishments for dining, the entertainment venues have risen over the last decade to include our own theater called the playhouse, a quaint yet imaginative acting domain for a more elegant night out. In closing Aiken, SC, is a wonderful place for everyone and a great place to raise a family especially.
