When moving into the city of Abbotsford, one should know about the great berry statue built to symbolize our berry agriculture. Also, housing prices are unfortunately rising as we are receiving an increase in people moving from Vancouver. Moreover, all the school are wonderful. All the teacher really care about their jobs and you will not have to worry about the education of your children.
One thing to consider if wanting to move to Abbotsford, British Columbia, is the weather. It is typically pretty wet and rainy most of the time, not unlike jungle weather. Another issue that some might find, is how expensive the housing market has become these past few years.
Someone considering moving to Abbotsford should be prepared for a lot of rain in the winter, some hot days in the summer, and a very long spring. Fall is also part of the rainy season here. Actually, most of the year is the rainy season in this part of British Columbia!
